Project WILD, a curriculum administered by the Council for Environmental Education (CEE), enables students of any age to develop awareness, knowledge, skills and commitment to result in informed decisions, responsible behavior and constructive actions concerning wildlife and the environment. In 2014, CWF supported CEE’s effort to recruit six new regional coordinators and train 80 new Project WILD facilitators who will use the curriculum to teach at schools and environmental education programs throughout California. Support has come from previous fees collected from Project WILD training sessions and from the Vesta Fund for Wildlife Habitat Conservation and Restoration, established by an anonymous private donor.
