Kid Scoop News is a Common Core Teaching Resource distributed six times each year to teachers in the East Bay (counties east of San Francisco) reaching 25,000 students. We collaborated with Kid Scoop News to produce an issue featuring activities related to California’s diverse oak woodland habitat and continue to support distribution of the paper thanks to the many supporters of our California Oaks fund and Vesta Fund for Wildlife Habitat Conservation and Restoration.
