The Climate Science Alliance – South Coast is a partnership of over 200 organizations formed to create and support a network of leaders, scientists, and natural resource managers focused on sharing ecosystem based resiliency approaches to safeguard our communities and natural resources from climate change risks in the south coast eco region.
We do this through leading activities and creating partnerships which promote increased awareness of climate change related issues. This ground up approach increases regional resilience to the impacts of climate change.
Support innovative projects such as:
2018 San Diego Climate Summit: The Ecological Impacts of Climate Change on a Biodiversity Hotspot: The inaugural 2018 San Diego Climate Summit provides regional environmental leaders an in-depth look at climate science and related issues, while providing a forum to discuss San Diego’s regional resiliency, built environment, and rich biodiversity.
Climate Kids: Educating youth on climate change through science, art, and storytelling
Dial-a-Scientist: Access to an extensive list of local scientists with various research expertise.
